What is FEP Wire
FEP wire is a type of fluoroplastic insulated wire with properties similar to PTFE and PFA, including low friction and chemical non-reactivity.
- Excellent corrosion resistance comparable to PTFE, withstanding exposure to detergents better than PTFE
- Melting point of approximately 200°C, lower than PTFE and PFA
- High dielectric strength with superior electrostatic field conduction
- Outstanding resistance to chemicals, fluids, aging, and ozone
- Tinned copper FEP wires recommended for welding applications
